Yoga Commute.

Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone has had a good couple of days since my last post. Today I'm going to introduce what will hopefully be a very regular installment here at IAONAH, simply called "Yoga Commute."

As many of you know, we live close enough to Geneva where its possible to go in everyday for yoga/etc., but far enough away that it can also be a major headache.

There are a variety of ways for me to get into the city, none of them being physically easy...

My preferred method of commute is by bike, and as much as I complain about it, it's a really nice way to take in the beauty of our little part of SwitzerFrance...

I'm continually amazed by how fast our region can go from rural to urban and back again, just in about 11 or 12 miles...

So I'd like to begin sharing pictures of my yoga commute with all of you, if you wouldn't mind...

...and don't worry, my bike helmet is in the front basket. When Doc isn't taking pictures of me on my bike it goes on my head. :)

A la prochaine friends...

  1. I think its wonderful that you live close enough to Geneva that you can ride your bike there for yoga. We fly into Geneva often when we go to Provence and drive the 3 hours and 15 minutes to our house. We have several family members who live in Collonges-sous-Salève and they ride their bikes into Geneva every day.

  2. You ride your back to and from yoga?! You are about a zillion times more fit than I am. I need to get off the couch now.x.

  3. @Michel - well, if I rode all the way in it'd be I think a 12 mile bike ride, so I ride to CERN (5.5 miles each way) and then take about an hour of trams...I could make it all the way into Geneva but I'm honestly nervous about city bike riding...

    @SL - I'm usually pretty useless after! :)
